Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Social Media & Community Manager to own our brand's voice, drive local engagement, and protect our reputation across all digital channels. This role requires a unique blend of creative content generation, strategic community engagement, and vigilant brand protection to ensure our messaging is unified and powerfully positions us as "The Leak Detection Experts." This position will be part remote, part in office. Compensation will be determined based on experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy following a defined mix (e.g., 40% Educational Tips, 30% Before & After Jobs, 20% Community & Team, and 10% Promotions).
  • Create compelling, high-quality copy with a professional, educational, and approachable tone that consistently reinforces our core brand message.
  • Generate visually appealing graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring strict adherence to corporate brand standards and provided templates.
  • Assist with basic video creation and editing to support the company's PR and thought leadership goals.
2. Community & Reputation Management
  • Act as the primary voice of the brand across all social media and review platforms, responding to comments and messages with empathy and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Vigilantly monitor and manage online reviews using reputation management software such as Podium, Birdeye, or similar platforms.
  • Implement proactive strategies to achieve measurable targets, such as ensuring each branch achieves 5+ new reviews per month.
  • Uphold brand integrity by avoiding casual slang, unverified advice, and ensuring all content is professional.
3. Strategic Oversight & Reporting
  • Manage and monitor all activity across core social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Utilize social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or Scorpion's native tools) for efficient scheduling, monitoring, and analytics.
  • Analyze platform data and review scores to create regular performance reports on key metrics, including leads, CPL (Cost Per Lead), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), and overall review scores.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration skills by coordinating closely with the corporate marketing department, our network of franchisees, and external vendors like Scorpion.
4. Crisis Management * Proactively identify, document, and escalate serious negative reviews or brand crises to the corporate PR team for immediate and coordinated response. Required Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in social media management, community management, or digital marketing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven Track Record: A portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns, content creation, and measurable results in engagement and audience growth is required.
  • Bonus Experience: Experience in a franchise or multi-location business model is highly desirable.
Technical & Platform Skills
  • In-depth, hands-on experience managing and executing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with reputation management software (e.g., Podium, Birdeye).
  • Expertise in content creation tools (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and analytics/scheduling platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
Strategic & Interpersonal Skills
  • Proactive & Goal-Oriented: A self-starter capable of managing their own schedule and workload to meet aggressive deadlines and strategic targets.
  • Crisis Management: Proven ability to remain calm and follow protocol when identifying and escalating potential brand threats.
  • Detail-Oriented: A deep understanding of brand standards and an unwavering commitment to maintaining brand consistency and professionalism.
