**Responsibilities** Postdoctoral Fellow - Neuroimaging in Parkinson's Disease A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the Barrow Neuroimaging Innovation Center at the Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) under the mentorship of Dr. Ashley Stokes. The fellow will contribute to a multidisciplinary research program focused on the development application and analysis of advanced MRI techniques to investigate neuropathological changes in Parkinson's disease across both clinical and preclinical models. Key methodologies include advanced diffusion and functional MRI for the assessment of brain connectivity and network integrity. The successful candidate will join a dynamic collaborative team within an internationally recognized clinical research environment. Qualifications: PhD in neuroscience biomedical engineering physics or a related discipline. Prior experience in MRI research and/or neurodegenerative disease models is highly desirable **Qualifications** Required Qualifications: - PhD in Biomedical Engineering Computer Science Electrical Engineering Neuroscience or other related areas of study - Research experience in electrophysiology data science (machine learning dynamical systems network theory etc.) behavioral task design medical image processing and/or audiovisual stimuli/virtual environment design - Track record of journal articles conference presentations abstracts in relevant areas of research - Proficiency with computer programming (Matlab Python or equivalent) - Experience and/or knowledge of data server hardware/software - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to function in a clinical environment and gather data from patients - Ability to interact in a positive and productive manner with a diverse lab community - Ability to be self-motivated to prioritize effectively and to meet deadlines **Overview** Hello humankindness ( Located conveniently in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, ( St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 571-bed, not-for-profit hospital that provides a wide range of health, social and support services.
