Job Title: MRI Radiologic Technologist

Preferred Experience: Level 1 Trauma or Siemens Scanner
Job Summary: We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI to join our imaging team. The technologist will perform radiographic examinations under the supervision of departmental radiologists, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform radiologic examinations as directed by radiologists.
Greet patients, explain procedures, position patients properly, and set appropriate exposure factors.
Ensure radiation safety and protection measures are followed to minimize patient exposure.
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively; report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Process films and input data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing.
Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Provide high-quality radiographs based on referring physician and radiologist requirements.
Qualifications:
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Current New York State license/registration.
Minimum of 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Key Skills:
At least 1 year of experience in the field (required).
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology (required).
Active NYS license/registration (required).
Experience in Level 1 trauma centers or Siemens Scanner (preferred).
