SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator to play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment in Crane, IN. 

The Material Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Support customers and sponsoring organizations in quality control, logistics, and related, as required to support and ensure ordnance systems are accurately prepared and documented for customers’ mission ensuring fleet readiness.
• Maintain preparedness for internal and external quality audits.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High School or GED and three (3) years’ experience

Required Clearance:

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey technical information effectively to a variety of audiences in oral or written formats.
• Background or certifications in product quality management or a quality related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software tools (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

• NSWC Crane Branch Quality Focal Point Designation
• Configuration Management
• Ordnance Systems Familiarity
