Extrusion Reel Maker

Job Summary:

Operate and maintain the Fiber Termination Reel Cell. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform several different tasks with great attention to detail. Need the ability to set-up, operate and monitor the Fiber Termination Reel Cell to ensure the quality, size, and appearance of the finished products.

Hours:

• 11:00pm until 7:00am

Days:

• Sunday through Thursday 

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 plus 10% Shift Differential

Job Duties and Responsibilities , not limited to:

• Constantly monitor the Fiber Termination Reel Cell during operation to identify and correct improper/unusual conditions, faulty equipment, and defective materials. Any improper/unusual conditions which cannot be corrected will be reported to the supervisor or technician.

• Clean all process tooling as well as other related Fiber Termination Reel Cell equipment, using existing procedures.

• Maintain documentation or process conditions, and cell production rate.

• Responsible for accurately completing all required paperwork and maintaining a clean environment to prevent contamination.

• Responsible for performing change overs and in-process quality inspections.

• Report material or machine defects or any major problems to the Section Leader or Supervisor.

• Organize and handle material within the cell to maintain an effective process.

• All other duties assigned by Line Leader, Section Leader or Supervisor.

• Must comply with all company rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Manufacturing experience preferred. 

• Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions. 

• Specific Skills: Mathematical skills, computer skills, mechanical ability, and knowledge of assembly machine operation. Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace. 

• Customers Define Our Success: Communicate equipment repair and trouble-shooting requests to eliminate machine downtime and ensure continuous production.

  Steel Toe Shoes are Required
