About Air Apps At Air Apps, we believe in thinking bigger—and moving faster. We’re a family-founded company on a mission to create the world’s first AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP), and we need your passion and ambition to help us change how people plan, work, and live. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2018—and now with offices in both Lisbon and San Francisco—we’ve remained self-funded while reaching over 100 million downloads worldwide. Our long-term focus drives us to challenge the status quo every day, pushing the boundaries of AI-driven solutions that truly make a difference. The Role As a Front-End Web Developer at Air Apps, you will be responsible for crafting seamless, high-performance, and visually engaging web experiences. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to build and optimize user interfaces using modern web technologies. Your work will directly impact millions of users, ensuring intuitive and efficient interactions with our AI-powered platform. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into interactive and accessible web interfaces.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Implement reusable components and maintainable front-end architectures.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Debug and resolve front-end issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
Requirements
  • Around 3+ years of experience in front-end web development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex, or Zustand).
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS) and front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and front-end performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What benefits do we offer?
  • Apple hardware ecosystem for work.
  • Annual Bonus.
  • Medical Insurance (including vision & dental).
  • Disability insurance - short and long-term.
  • 401k up to 4% contribution.
  • Air Stipend $3,120/year, paid over 12 monthly installments (for home office, learning, wellness, etc.).
  • Air Conference – an opportunity to meet the team, collaborate, and grow together.
