As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support the System Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization within National Security Space (NSS) in one or more of the following areas:
• Primary role will be to perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers
• Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions
• Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Perform and support requirements sell-off through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels
• Join our E3 Engineering team. Be partnered and mentored by senior experts, while supporting multiple programs.
Basic Qualifications • Exceptional knowledge and conversant with Mil Std 461/464 requirements and the applicable test methods
• Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory
• TS security clearance
Desired skills • Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent)
• MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE or equivalent experience
• Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis
• Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self-starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership
• Enthusiastic learner, independent thinker, and team-player

Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
