Development Team Lead | Providence, UT

Nexeo is seeking a skilled and motivated Development Team Lead to guide a talented software engineering team focused on C#/.NET development for advanced command-and-control software. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, setting direction and fostering collaboration.

• Drive the development of scalable, high-performing applications using C#/.NET frameworks.

• Ensure coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines are followed.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, scope, and timelines.

• Contribute hands-on with coding, debugging, and optimization (especially in C# and WPF).

• Troubleshoot complex challenges and guide the team toward innovative solutions.

• Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and introduce modern tools/methodologies.

• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with C# and .NET.

• 5+ years in a leadership role (mentoring or managing developers).

• Strong background in WPF, XAML, and MVVM design patterns.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (WinForms, Blazor, Maui, or Qt/QML).

• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD tools.

• Skilled in unit testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest) and writing testable code.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to give and receive feedback.

• Experience in Robotics, Automation, or Mining industries is highly preferred.

• Candidates with backgrounds at Caterpillar, Hitachi, or Komatsu are of special interest.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.

Schedule

• Hybrid role: 1 day in-office per week (Tuesdays) – more if desired.

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40–45 hours/week.

• Occasional travel: ~1 international trip per year to a mining site.
