Salary: $110,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for individuals with 8-10 years of experience in data engineering positions. The successful candidate must possess the following essential skills: Databricks SQL, Python and PySpark, Amazon S3, and Databricks Unity Catalog.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be expected to:
• Utilize Databricks SQL to analyze substantial datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and sustain Delta Live Pipelines for efficient, real-time data processing and analysis.
• Oversee Amazon S3-based data lakes, ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of data.
• Create robust data processing applications using Python and PySpark to adapt to changing business requirements.
• Maintain Databricks Delta Lake to guarantee data consistency and reliability across various platforms.
• Integrate and orchestrate Databricks Workflows to optimize data pipelines and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and promote best practices in data engineering and architecture.
• Ensure compliance with data security standards and industry regulations.
• Monitor and enhance system performance for high availability and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and cloud platforms.

This is a remote position with a competitive annual salary ranging from $110K to $130K, depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant. Additionally, this role is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, which is performance-based and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
